Welcome everyone to Ancient Stone. I have always been interested in " situational writing" That meaning to me is that as a writers perspective you become the character. Situational writing to me is the character in that situation is writing the story and hopefully you get to see his perspective and enjoy the journey with him. From Mutiny Blues where the character thinks things are good but he is sadly mistaken to Best man's song where there is a very a-typical love triangle. "Watch what your singing" is my own little poke at the very distinct styles I was performing in those situations and "watch what your singing" is my own poke at me and my own musical journey. Is it real or situational writing? I"ll let you decide! Ancient Stone the Song and Dancing girl were written as part of a soundtrack to a movie. The concept is eyes in character going through his journey, a chance meeting, boy sees girl, boy falls in love with girl, boy looses girl, boy never stops searching for girl....the rest is a surprise. The rest of the songs I have created I'd like your input. Can you follow inside the footsteps of the characters in my music? Ole Watering hole on the other hand is all me and how I would spend my summers and winter's living on a lake as you grow up. Sometimes the reality is that there were really good memories and I wanted to capture the good ones throughout the years. Welcome to Ancient Stone and his music. If you have a love of classic Rock Im sure you'll find me mildly entertaining....go see a band...
